EU compliance and Dutch labelling

The Netherlands applies the EU Cosmetics Regulation. Before a product is sold, an EU Responsible Person, a company or person established in the EU and appointed by your brand, must hold the product information file, obtain the cosmetic product safety report and notify the product in the CPNP. Their name and EU address go on the label.

Rowe Cosmetics has no office in the EU and does not act as Responsible Person. We support your RP with the quantitative formula, INCI list, stability data, raw material documentation and GMP evidence they need.

Dutch and multilingual packaging

Mandatory label information such as precautions and product function is generally expected in Dutch for the Dutch market. If you also sell in Belgium, Germany or France, a multilingual label or leaflet can cover several countries in one print run. We help design the layout; your RP should confirm the final text.

Green claims

Sustainability claims are increasingly scrutinised in the EU. Keep claims specific and provable, for example “vegan formula” or “bottle made with recycled material”, and we will supply the supporting raw material and packaging information.
